ABOUT THE PRINTS
- Which finish should I get?
It's really up to you as it's a very personal choice. Customers tend to choose the finish and frame they think will go well with the colour of the walls, the disposition of furniture or just to add something more to an empty wall in their residences. Have a look at the materials section for a more detailed description.
- Do the prints come with frames?
Fine-Art and Poster prints are a print only, so you can choose your own frame. The Alu-Dibond and Acrylic Glass artworks come with a ‘floating’ hanging system. Of course, all artwork can be framed and we’re happy to provide you with a large variety of frames to best suit your wishes. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org specifying which artwork you are interested in and which type of frame you want for your print, so we can provide you with samples and quotes.
- What’s an ‘open-edition’?
Open-edition prints are open artworks or better yet "the permanent collection", which means they have no limit in their print run, are not numbered or signed and are always at your disposal. Open-edition prints come at a lower and affordable price than limited editions, while maintaining the same level of quality and appearance as all other artworks.
- What’s a ‘limited-edition’?
Limited-edition prints are artworks only available in a limited number that go down as the size goes up. Each one is numbered and hand-signed. The artist provides a specific number of signed prints worldwide, over a variety of sizes. This means that your chosen limited edition print is 1 out of a few prints in the entire world ever produced, making it a unique print. Once a size or edition has sold out, there won't be any more available. Prices for any limited-edition print may rise as its availability decreases, especially in the bigger sizes. Currently only open editions are available.
- Do you offer Certificates of Authenticity?
Only limited-edition prints will be signed and numbered at the back of the artwork. Should you wish to receive a separate Certificate of Authenticity, we’re happy to produce one for you. Please let us know when you’re finalising your order.
- Do the prints come with a white border?
Only the Fine-Art Prints come with a white border. The width of the border depends on the size of the print, which can go up to 5 cm for the bigger artworks.
- Do you offer other materials than the ones shown on your webshop?
Yes, we can help you with other materials but due to the huge variety available, we kindly request you to contact us at email@example.com to request a quote and receive samples.
